HVAC OEM boilers offer a high level of customisation and flexibility, while integrated circulators ensure robustness. Depending on your needs, you can choose from wall-hung or floor-standing solutions, systems or combi boilers.
The traditional way of heating one- and two-family homes
Combi-boilers are one of the most traditional ways of heating one- and two-family homes. They use fossil fuels, such as natural gas or mineral oil, although the use of gas and liquid fuels made from biomass is increasing. Boilers typically operate with return temperatures of up to 80 degrees Celsius. Heat is generated and distributed to each residence via a network of pipes that supply both the heating system and the hot water supply.
In order to optimise conditions through heat emitters to ensure the right energy level, internal (or external) pumps for boiler-heated circuits must be controlled. To optimise these conditions, hydronic balancing is key, and if the boiler is built with the right components, the tools for balancing are built right in. And they can be managed with apps, like the Grundfos Go Balance app.
Digitalisation to the NEXT level
Digitalisation will play a key role in developing future heating and cooling solutions. In the coming years, OEMs will be expected to work with an increasing amount of data points to optimise installation and commissioning and improve overall system performance. Digital NEXT is our way of helping our partners prepare for what’s coming next.
