Floor-heating or ceiling-cooling systems with reversible heat pumps can heat rooms in winter and cool the air in summer with one system. In Aircon systems, circulators are used to transport heat from air to water heaters to cooling towers or chillers.
Combined space heating and cooling systems
Ceiling-cooling systems together with reversible heat pumps can cool air by 4°C to 6°C in summer with one system. When cooling the system, the liquid temperature must be kept above the dew point of the air to avoid condensing on the cooled floor, walls or ceilings.
Avoid condensation with variable-speed pumps
In Ceiling-cooling systems, condensation can occur in the pump occasionally. For this reason, when using these systems it is recommended to use variable-speed pumps such as PWM or LIN-BUS UPM3 or UPML/XL.
Our pump range for combined heating and cooling systems is designed to be integrated into applications able to remotely control the head and flow, which our program enables in UPM3 UPML UPMXL UPMXXL and UPM3 LIN variants.
