MAGNA3 is an intelligent, high-efficiency circulator pump
The MAGNA3 circulator is a highly-advanced canned rotor pump intended for large commercial buildings such as hospitals and schools. Intelligent features such as AUTOADAPT and FLOWADAPT select the optimal system setting, ensuring that your system always provides the best possible comfort and the most efficient operation.
Connect the pump to a building management system and get complete control and monitoring of the system and improve reliability at the same time. You can also use the Grundfos GO Remote for monitoring purposes, giving you access to system data right at your fingertips.
MAGNA3 also offers multi-pump functionality, in which two pumps are connected in parallel. Multi-pump systems can operate in alternating, backup or cascade operation.
MAGNA3, More than a pump
The MAGNA3 is a circulator pump based on the tried and tested MAGNA technology and our industry-leading experience with electronic pumps. The permanent magnet motor, AUTOadapt function and integrated frequency converter is still part of the MAGNA package, but we’ve added some additional, ground-breaking new technologies. The result is a cutting-edge piece of intelligent technology that retains the unrivalled Grundfos reliability.
How to save up to 80% pump energy

How do I proceed if I want to install a differential pressure-regulated heating pump in an existing system with overflow valves?
In the case of non-regulated fixed speed pumps, an overflow valve limits rising pressure when closing the radiator thermostat by moving the medium from the flow pipe to the return pipe.
When installing differential pressure-regulated pumps, you should remove or block overflow valves, as two control loops might have a disruptive influence on one another. It is possible that the safety guidelines issued by the manufacturers of heat generators will advise against so doing. Please ...
Which Pumps are used for Grundfos Distributed Pumping
Grundfos Distributed Pumping is made possible with our connected pumps that gives optimal and intelligent distribution of chilled water to all terminal units.
For supplying each terminal unit, we utilised our MAGNA3 range as coils pumps. The MAGNA3 is a canned-rotor type, i.e. pump and motor form an integral unit without shaft seal and integrated variable speed drive and IE5 motor giving you the most efficient pump within its' class and it doesn't require maintenance. The MAGNA3 ...
