Where flexible effluent pumping is required
When pumping wastewater from installations in or around housing, farms and small industry, you need flexibility, ease of use and reliable operation. The EF range of submersible effluent pumps is designed for pumping drainage and surface water as well as wastewater with small impurities and for free-standing, hook-up or auto-coupling installation.
Impeller adjustment does not require dismantling the pump and AUTOADAPT versions offer plug-and-pump simplicity. Integrating a controller, sensors and motor protection in the pump, EF AUTOADAPT pumps only need to be connected to the mains supply. The pump adapts automatically to the conditions in the pit.

What minimum fill level is required to properly operate the wastewater or drainage pump?
The EF and SE pumps are equipped with motors cooled by the surrounding pumped medium. In order for the motors to be adequately cooled, the EF and SE pumps must always be completely submerged in the pumped medium during operation. For applications where this is not possible, the fill level must never fall below half the height of the pump.
The KP and AP pumps, on the other hand, have motors that are cooled from the inside by the pumped medium flowing through the pump. For this ...
