The Grundfos Save Energy calculator gives you an indication of potential savings in terms of energy costs and CO2 emissions by comparing a new high-efficiency Grundfos heating circulator pump with an old non-controlled 3-speed pump. It can be obtained by specifying the range of the area of the house to be heated or providing the old pump's power consumption (you can check the P1 value in watts on the nameplate).
Please note that savings are indicative and provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute an exact calculation for your house, heating installation or operating conditions. You need to contact a professional plumber/installer, if you want an exact calculation of your potential savings.
Energy savings: the calculation is based on average heating operating hours, an expected load profile of the compared pumps, and the price of electricity in the region. Prices are updated once every month from Electricity Prices Europe.
CO2 emissions: the calculation is based on the expected yearly savings in energy consumption. The total savings in kWh are then multiplied by the local grid emissions factor in kg of CO2/kWh which then gives a total CO2 emissions output in kg.
