The DUPLOX water purification system
The Grundfos DUPLOX water purification system is designed for the treatment of residential or commercial wastewater polluted by biodegradable substances. Four different models are available depending on the number of people for which the technology is required, for example for population equivalents of 60 through to 250.
A compact and self-contained wastewater treatment unit
The DUPLOX system consists of a robust treatment tank in which wastewater undergoes intensive aeration for approximately 20 hours. Aeration is achieved by introducing compressed air from an electric blower, ensuring efficient and effective biological treatment.
Once purification is complete, a durable submersible pump — fully immersed in the treated water — automatically transfers the clarified effluent to the discharge outlet. This submerged design eliminates the need for priming, minimises maintenance and ensures reliable, quiet and energy-efficient operation within the compact DUPLOX unit.
