Designed for hot water filtration
The EFG5 single-bag filter supports filtration of hot water up to 100 °C primarily for pretreatment and process water applications. It accommodates filter bags in polypropylene (nominal) or nylon/polyamide (absolute), offering particle removal from 400 µm to 1 µm.
Two Versions. Tailored Performance.
The EFG5 is available in two versions – galvanised or painted – to suit varying environmental and temperature requirements. Both versions offer the option of a magnetic insert, which enhances filtration by capturing fine magnetic particles such as rust and sludge, improving overall system protection.
Optimum filtration with magnetic insert
To enhance particle removal, the EFG5 bag filter can be fitted with an optional magnetic insert, integrated into the top of the housing. Highly effective at capturing fine magnetic particles—such as magnetite—this insert prevents buildup on the filter bag, helping extend operating time. Units purchased without a magnetic insert can be retrofitted at any time, marking the start of enhanced system durability.
