For high-volume ion-exchange water softening applications
Designed for large water treatment applications, the Grundfos Ultraline HA system is capable of softening water by removing hardness caused by calcium and magnesium salts and exchanging them with sodium salts that do not deposit scale. Water flows through a bed of resin previously charged with sodium chloride (salt).
Heavy-duty technology built to last
The Ultraline HA is suitable for flow rates from 18-34m³/h. The unit is fully automated and uses diaphragm valves made of fibreglass reinforced Noryl, for the precise control of water cycles. The softening tanks are made from heavy-duty carbon steel, the inside of which is protected with a food-grade layer of epoxy coating to ensure a long service life. The outside is covered with a layer of enamel paint. The unit features a smaller harness compared with the Ultraline HB unit. Choose the Ultraline HA for large-scale applications where the flow rate is high, but not at the highest possible level, or if you need a smaller tank size than the HB series offers.
Softening units
Grundfos offers a diverse range of water softening systems for industrial applications. They reduce water hardness, treat different flow rates, and incorporate advanced technologies for efficiency. Available in Simplex, Duplex and Triplex versions for high operational reliability.
