Grundfos Optimization Services in Vertical Farming
We can help you save water and energy, and reduce your carbon footprint.
Inefficient pumps can waste substantial amounts of energy and water. To reduce your operating costs, and help you meet sustainability targets, we offer a range of Optimization Services. Through careful analysis, Grundfos specialists help you ensure that your pumps are operating as efficiently as possible to the benefit of both the environment and your finances.
Energy Check Advanced - An easy to understand assessment of your pumps
Booking an Energy Check Advanced is easy. The analysis is performed on-site by a Grundfos specialist or trained partner and requires no downtime and minimal administration.
Our Energy Check Advanced takes data from your SCADA system or from on-site measurements. The result is a customized Energy Report detailing the energy consumption and the CO2 emissions of your installed pumps highlighting suggestions for energy savings and process optimization, to help reduce your carbon footprint and meet your sustainability targets.
Energy Audit - a comprehensive analysis of pump performance
An Energy Audit is a diagnostic tool developed by Grundfos specialists to identify excessive energy consumption. The service is based on specific pump performance measurements.
It focuses on the amount of material the pump handles and on flow variations during a short and well-defined period.
During the audit, a Grundfos specialist measures countable values such as flow and energy consumption; analogue values such as pressure, temperature, and water levels; and incident rates such as pump start/stop, and valve open/close. Based on these metrics, the audit assesses the overall efficiency of your pumps and proposes changes to improve efficiency. Final suggestions are based on calculations of potential savings, CO2 emission reductions and payback time on the up-front investment.
Optimize your pumps and reduce OPEX
Did you know that you could save hundreds of thousands every year by replacing your old and inefficient pumps? Download our short booklet to see the potential savings you could expect from energy-optimized solutions, based on real-life cases.
85% percent of a pump’s overall lifetime cost are related to its energy consumption. By energy-optimizing your pumps, you’ll save energy, improve reliability, and keep downtime at a minimum. Not only that, upgrading pumps has environmental benefits as well. Investing in green, energy-efficient solutions boosts your environmental profile and brings down carbon emissions.
Grundfos Digital Services in Vertical Farming
Connected pumps open up a world of opportunities for true data-based optimisation taking pump performance to a new level.
The aim of our Digital Service offering is to provide you with the most precise data available for optimisation, and to take a greater responsibility for your pump performance and thereby predict possible issues before they occur. This is made possible by features such as remote monitoring and control.
Immediate, predictive insights allow you to pinpoint problems before they become costly failures. With Grundfos Machine Health, you can reduce unexpected mechanical breakdowns by up to 75%.
Grundfos Machine Health is a pump monitoring system that continuously monitors equipment using advanced wireless sensors. The sensor data is stored securely in the cloud and analysed by AI algorithms, capable of spotting even the slightest sign that your pumps and other critical assets are in need of maintenance or repairs.
Grundfos Machine Health offers 24/7 condition monitoring of pumps and critical assets from the get-go, notifying you as soon as a potential issue occurs.
Easy, secure, cost-effective pump management with Grundfos Remote Management
Grundfos Remote Management (GRM) is an internet based remote monitoring, management and reporting system for pump installations in water infrastructure and commercial applications, allowing a user full control of their system from a PC or smart phone.
GRM provides remote access and control to data and alarms from pumps, pump controllers, and auxiliary equipment such as sensors and meters. Data from pump installations is transferred to a central database and published to subscribers on a secure web server.
Users have access to data from pump installations that are registered to their own account, allowing complete insight to their water network.
